Senior SDET with 10+ years of experience building and leading test automation across large-scale, distributed platforms. Track record owning quality on complex initiatives — the Magento Functional Testing Framework, the Magento SaaS rebuild, the Magento + Adobe integration, and quality engineering for a distributed AI orchestration platform. Broad across API and UI automation, CI/CD-integrated test suites, service-level test strategy, and performance engineering, with a methodical, documentation-driven approach to software quality. Looking for a senior automation or quality engineering role where I can build robust, maintainable testing infrastructure for a high-performing team.
Platform: a distributed .NET micro-services system integrating multiple LLM providers.
- Owned API automation and quality across a broad distributed service landscape — built and maintained automated test suites spanning gateway, session, identity, and billing layers, including an MCP proxy, using Postman/Newman and Tosca Cloud.
- Authored a centralized service test registry standardizing where each service's tests live and how to run them, establishing repeatable pre/post-deployment verification across the platform and improving deployment confidence for the wider team.
- Integrated smoke test suites for the core platform and billing services into the CI/CD pipeline, providing fast post-deployment feedback with automated result notifications.
- Defined regression and test strategy documentation for core services, standardizing how the team scoped and measured coverage across releases.
- Built the platform's performance engineering practice in NeoLoad — reusable load, stress, spike, and soak models and an automated test/results workflow comparing direct-to-provider vs. gateway-routed LLM latency, giving the team actionable data on the orchestration layer's overhead.
Led quality engineering across the Magento Functional Testing Framework, the in-house SaaS stack reconstruction, and the Magento + Adobe ecosystem integration.
- Spearheaded development of the Magento Functional Testing Framework (MFTF) — assembled and led the team, revamped the legacy automation framework, and prototyped a new UI testing approach that became the foundation for Magento's functional test tooling.
- Led testing for the in-house reconstruction of the Magento SaaS stack — built a REST API monitoring framework, established a comprehensive Postman collection for database seeding and infrastructure triggers, and reduced backend defects while gaining deep Java proficiency.
- Drove quality for the integration of Magento's codebase into the Adobe ecosystem — engineered a Node.js / CodeceptJS / PactumJS framework to validate the Adobe I/O CLI and its Magento integration, and developed test coverage for 100+ REST APIs while transitioning to micro-services.
- Led testing for the major Magento Inventory (MSI) refactor for v2.0, bridging UI testing gaps with PHP functional frameworks and recommending modifications that improved post-refactor test efficiency.
- Supported frontend SDETs on complex selector construction for difficult UI components, reducing UI test flakiness across the suite.
Testing. Quality engineering for a distributed AI orchestration platform integrating multiple LLM providers (AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI). Built API automation, integration tests, and performance/latency comparison harnesses across direct-to-provider and gateway-routed paths, including MCP proxy and session/context services.
Building. Daily use of Claude Code and the Anthropic API as a primary development tool. Built a personal multi-agent development ecosystem with orchestrator patterns, reusable skill modules (SKILL.md methodology), and Claude-API-powered side projects spanning civic transparency tools, Vue 3 / Next.js / .NET applications, and a Tauri + SQLite + LanceDB repo management hub.
